Twilight continues at East Fram

FIFTY-four players enjoyed the twilight series round at East Framlingham Golf Club last Wednesday.

Tony Kenna and Fred Beasley both finished on 37 to win the men’s scratch event while Darcy Hutchins took out the handicap with 43-11-32.

The men’s non-handicap scratch was won by Clinton Demartin on 45 while the non-handicap went to Mick Rudezky 47-13.5-33.5.

Louise Cameron took out the ladies’ scratch on 43 while the longest drives went to Lousie Cameron and Harvey Roberts.

In the junior under 16 scratch competition, Leo Beasley won on 42 while Hugh Kenna finished on 47-13-34 to win the under 16 handicap.

Nearest the pins: 1st Blair Oakley, 2nd Danny Kenna, 3rd Alex Kenna, 4th Max Kavanagh, 5th Clinton Demartin, 7th Riley Scanlon, 8th Ben Lee and 9th Harvey Roberts.

The raffle winner was Willis Johnston.

Last Saturday saw Brett Willsher take out A grade in the stableford competition with 41 points.

He was followed by Ayden Bosse 36, Daniel Molan 34, Bruce Knee 34 and Greg Lenehan 34.

B grade was won by Glenn Tracey on 51 points, from Peter Clark 36, Ross McLeod 36, Anthony Eccles 35 and Ben Lee 35.

The ladies’ winner was Anne Grenfell on 40 points, followed by Thelma Inverarity 34 and Pauline Armstrong 30.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Ayden Bosse, 6th Brett Willsher, 7th Daniel Molan and 9th Craig Lee.

The social winner was Jim Lewis.

Next week will be greenkeepers’ revenge.
