Pop-up shop for Red Cross
THOSE searching for a unique but special Christmas gift for a loved one or friend should head to the Wangoom Hall this weekend.
Wangoom Red Cross member Linda Carr is hoping locals will support this weekend’s pop-up shop at the Wangoom hall.
Members of the Wangoom Red Cross unit have been busy preparing for this weekend’s annual fundraiser – a pop-up craft shop.
Visitors to the hall will find many assorted handcrafts on sale which would make ideal Christmas gift ideas – plus an extensive cake stall and well-priced plants.
Baby knits and bibs, soft toys, paper craft, dolls and clothes, embroidered Manchester, bags, knee rugs and jewellery will all be among the many items on offer.
The craft shop will be open from 10am until 4pm on Saturday and 10am until 3pm Sunday.
All funds raised will be sent directly to Australian Red Cross for its humanitarian work.
