Despite the cool weather and threatening clouds overhead, an estimated 3,000-4,000 visitors flocked to St John’s Primary School in Dennington to enjoy what was a great family day out.

The mini-entrepreneurs and pop-up shops were kept busy throughout the day, while the food trucks, barbecue and coffee van kept hunger at bay.

Children of all ages were kept well entertained by the Cha Cha, swing ride, SES display and giant inflatable slides while many also enjoyed the chance to spend time in the animal nursery.

Among the free activities on the day were cupcake decorating, a silent disco, Bunnings pot-a-plant, Are-Able games and fun with giant bubbles.

With another successful event now over, the organising committee is already back in full swing planning for 2026.
